Happy Mother's Day

Hello luvs!

I hope you are all well. I've had this cough virus that's going around and it's not pleasant! Plus, it lasts about two weeks, so keep wrapped up folks!

Back to cards...Mother's Day will soon be upon us (in the UK) and I have a card to share with you that I did as a 3D flower card tutorial in the March 2018 issue of Crafts Beautiful.

This card was made just using scissors, a ball tool and card. You just need to add gems, a sentiment and ribbon. You can find the templates for the petals and leaves in the March 2018 issue or you can download it for free from here.

Why not check out all the other free templates, papers, hints tips and ideas over at the Crafts Beautiful website? You need to register, but it is quick and free. There are lots more of my makes and templates too.

The new April issue is out on the 1st March and you get a free floral pop-up box making kit. I did the makes for the issue using the free kit. They are a lot of fun to create. I'll post up them as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for popping by. See you soon!

Love Wings

Hello peeps!

I'm here not with another Christmas card, but a Valentine's card. My husband and I don't usually do the Valentine thing, but I thought I would do a soppy card for all you romantics out there.

I had a sort through some of my older Sizzix dies and came across the Heart Wings Bigz die and the Scallops On the Edge die.

Pebbles has a really cute Valentine collection this year called Forever My Always, so I've teamed some of the papers up with the dies.

What you need...

Dies: Tim Holtz On the Edge Scallops (656627); Tim Holtz Heart Wings Bigz (656638) - Sizzix
Patterned paper: Forever My Always 6x6 Paper Pad - Pebbles
Card stock: black, red
Gems: clear
Rub on: love
Adhesives

I'm not sure how many of the dies are now available, you may be able to find one or two on the internet. Any heart die would also work teamed up with some simple wings cut from patterned paper.

This card would also be perfect for an anniversary or just to tell someone you love them any time of the year!

I hope you like my simple little love card. Thank you for stopping by!

Christmas Houses

Hallo peeps!

I'm back with another Christmas make. I've done a lovely snowy Christmas night scene with cute houses in a row. It's a long narrow card that measures 7cm x 15cm with a side fold.

What you need...

Stamps: Snowman Street (10001135) - Artemio; Merry Christmas sentiment
Ink pad: Tuxedo Black - Memento
Copic Markers
Baker's Twine: red

I bought this stamp set in a sale from a craft shop. On browsing the internet, there are still a few sets out there. The set not only has this adorable row of houses, but some really cute snowmen too. I'll insert a picture below.

I love doing unusual sized cards, it is the perfect excuse to make envelopes and use up some of the lovely Christmas papers I have in my stash.

Hopefully I will get time to make some more Christmas cards. I was looking through my stamps and dies the other day and there are so many ideas popping into my head!

I'm going to sign off now, thank you for popping by and I'll be back soon. TTFN! x
